How NN.07 is expanding in The US

NN.07, a Danish sporty-chic menswear brand distributed worldwide, wants to
expand in The US, and has appointed Justin Berkowitz as its strategic partner in
The US and to lead the brand's very first flagship store in SoHo, New York City.

 

NN.07, a Danish sporty-chic menswear brand distributed worldwide, wants to expand in The US, and has appointed Justin Berkowitz as its strategic partner in The US and to lead the brand's very first flagship store in SoHo, New York City.

The brand was founded in 2007 with the aim to offer made to last quality menswear for everyday use and for a life without borders, as it name says as a shortened form for the “No Nationality” expression. 

 




While it is sold in over 600 key global menswear shopping destinations, and continues to sell through branded spaces and flagship stores in Europe and the United States, it will open its first NN.07 flagship store in New York this summer in partnership with Justin Berkowitz, the former men’s fashion director at Bloomingdale’s.

"A store in New York is a true manifestation of brand momentum, and today we’re proud to announce the opening of our first flagship store in The United States,” commented Anders Rahr, CEO, NN.07.


Berkowitz has developed an over 15 years of experience in the industry and is an expert about helping European brands grow in the United States. 


Berkowitz is a longtime friend of the brand, was the first person in the United States to bring the brand into brick-and-mortar destinations back in 2016.

 

 

“I’m thrilled to partner with NN.07 to open its first store in The US. I’ve admired how they continue to refine products, and it’s been so wonderful to watch the brand develop season after season. Now is the perfect time for NN.07 to plant its flag in New York, and I’m excited to take part in the journey,” commented Berkowitz.

The new NN.07 flagship store is located at 276 Lafayette Street and will open in late summer 2024.


NN.07 was founded in 2007,by launching a chinos model, the Simon 1000, a trouser style that could match a good pair of jeans to be worn-in by everyday use, and become men’s favourite garment. The brand has now grown into a full concept brand, focused on the idea to cater consumers from different cultures and communities willing to meet curious and open minds believing in living a life with No Nationality. 

In 2023 NN.07 garnered mainstream attention, as their Gael jacket was worn by Jeremy Allen White in the cult-to-be TV-series 'The Bear'.


It also started collaborations with renowns brands like Timex and Sebago, among others.

 
The brand is sold by some of the world’s best retailers including Mr. Porter, End Clothing, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Liberty, Peggs, Matches, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, Fred Segal, Cueva, American Rag, Illum, NK, Uptown, Baskets, Calico Club, Care of Carl, Braun, Breuninger, Printemps, La Samaritaine, Le Bon Marché, Merci Paris, INCU, Beaker, and many more.





It is selling at prices like €190 for a polo shirt, €160 for linen trousers, €120 for shirts, €225 for a rip stop overshirt or €240 for a seersucker jacket.
